Who we are!

Hi my name is Angelica. I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. My favorite thing to say, write and show is "Smile Big". Not small or medium... BIG. Yes, big. The second thing for you to know is that I love to spend time with my Girl Scout troop. Maybe I should tell you a little about my family. My brother, Daniel, and my sister Monica are in college far away from home. My mom is named Urszula. She is a nurse, and works with newborn babies. My dad makes staircases out of wood and metal. His name is Jacek. My parents moved here from Poland. My favorite hobby is to draw. I draw everything around me. I learn more about the world when I draw. I play basketball and shoot a lot of hoops. I also like to dig up clay and make sculptures. In school my favorite subject is math because I am good at it. My favorite food is fresh picked red cherries.

My name is Cora, but you can call me "Math Girl" because it is my favorite subject in school. I have one brother. His name is Owen. He is 13 years old. He wants to be an archeologist. He already has a lot of fossils. My mom is one of the troop leaders. She has Lupus and because of that she has to wear oxygen all the time. My dad is a teacher at the middle school. Both of them were lawyers but don't miss it. I am in choir and YES Club at school. YES Club is Young Environmental Stewards. We learn about nature, and this semester we are studying fire. My favorite singers are The Jonas Brothers. They are really good. I love the color purple and I have a poem I wrote about purple. My favorite animal is a monkey -- I like the Golden Lion Tamarin best. It has the cutest babies.

My name is Alexandria but people call me Alex. I have lots of hobbies. I love to ride on motorcycles with my family. Ever since I was a little girl I always wanted motorcycle but my parents said I need to learn to ride my bicycle first. I collect bottle caps and stuffed animals. Two of my favorite animals are a giant stuffed Duck and a giant stuffed teddy bear. My other favorite hobby is being crazy. I am as hyper as a hyena or a gorilla without a banana for a month. I was born in Hawaii -- how cool is that?! My friends think I am really funny. My mom is in the Army. She is a Leiutenant Colonel. My dad makes maps, and one night he had to stay up all night making one. He also teaches people how to use computers. I have one brother. He is younger than me by two years. His name is Zachary. He has hair as long as a girl and he plays with it a lot.


My name is Alexis. One of my favorite things to do is to help others. My favorite band is The Newsboys. My favorite class in school is art. I love free drawing time best. I collect rocks and beads and feathers. My favorite rock is purple. My favorite feather is from a falcon. And my favorite bead looks like a rainbow. I live with my grandparents, my mom, my sister and my dog. My mom, Suzanne, is very caring. My sister, Polly, is 6 years older than me. She is very funny. My grandpa is one of the funniest people in my family. He likes to tease me. My grandma helps me make the right choices in life. She works very hard to take care of my family. My dog is named Nicky. She is a loving dog. I have some cousins that live in a different country -- Germany. I have been there to see them!

As a troop we are all funny, crazy and silly. We love to help others and we live by the Girl Scout Law.
